The Process
During an initial consultation, we begin by evaluating the areas where the sutures will be placed, and a personalized treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs. Next, a topical numbing cream is applied to the treated area for 30 minutes. The PDO threads are gently delivered beneath the skin’s surface in precise areas during the procedure. The sagging skin is lifted and repositioned to improve the mid-facial volume and achieve a smooth face and neck contour. Once in place, the threads work to activate a natural cellular response and sustain collagen regeneration over time. The process uses highly biocompatible polymers that have been successfully employed in other biomedical applications, such as suture threads and orthopedic pins.
